Albertina Museum, Vienna - Framed Postcards
$10
The Postcards:
Each postcard was purchased from the Albertina Museum in Vienna, Austria.
Left-to-right:
1- Knabe mit zerbrochenem Ei, Jean Baptiste Greuze, 1756
2- Verwandlung, Joan Miró, 1936
3- Mädchen mit Blumenhut, Alexej von Jawlensky, 1910
The cards were packaged with a stapled receipt. The staples embedded into the cards, visible if you look from an angle with light hitting it just right. It is most visible in the Jean Baptiste postcard. See photos 2, 3, & 4.
The Frames:
The postcard is framed with backing designed to be hung up using double sided masking tape or 3M command photo frame hanging strips.
The frame does not have, use, or need a front panel. They "pinch" the edges of the postcard and use tension to keep it in place while hanging.
I've included a demonstrative photo of artwork using these frames and 3M tape (last photo)
