The coins are in uncirculated condition. 2022 $2 "Black Toonie" was issued by the Royal Canadian Mint to honor Queen Elizabeth II, featuring a unique black-nickel plated outer ring as a symbol of mourning. Five million of these coins were put into circulation, with a black ring representing a mourning band surrounding the polar bear.
