Aleksandr Ptushko Fantastika Box blu ray kickstarter

All four Deaf Crocodile releases of the Russian high fantasy works of Aleksandr Ptushko produced between the late 50’s and early 60’s. Each film sold out immediately upon individual release and this set was only available through the kickstarter campaign and limited to less than 2000 copies. Each set is housed in an exclusive box, and new, matching slipcovers. All features are the same as the original releases and includes a booklet for each film. The Films: Ilya Muromets Sampo The Tale of Tsar Saltan Ruskin and Ludmila These were all basically regional fairy tales that were given the “sword and sandes” treatment of the 60’s…very much in the vein of Ray Harryhousen films of the time. This is the first time these films have been remastered and they’ve never looked so beautiful Only watched once each so everything is still in mint condition
