Antique Hammered Copper Coal Scuttle with Delft Ceramic Handle

A very attractive old copper coal scuttle with cramp seams or commonly referred to as dovetail joints… The metal is hand forged and the handle is brass with wonderful molded Lion heads Unknown date but estimated to be late 19th century to early 20th century. Most likely made in Holland This was a common household item that most Victorian homes would have in order to store their coal next to their coal burning fireplace/heater.
