Antique/Vintage spoons - WW1 Era - 1916

From the WW1 Era between 1915-1920s. Vintage spoons marked with ‘1881 Rogers A1’ on the back (Willam A. Rogers, founded in 1881 - which his Company was later acquired by Oneida in 1929) - Spoons commemorating Military Leaders of Generals & Admirals during World War I. Spoons were produced & released by Rogers during and shortly after WW1 - as collectables during the War years and today they are sought after by collectors. See attached -last photo of an Antique dealer - selling 1 spoon for $36 + + (x7 spoons =$252) … I’m selling my whole set of 7 for less than half the going price. *Note* These spoons also have the following mark on the back: "Pat. Apld. for" Meaning: The mark stands for "Patent applied for". Historical context: It was used by manufacturers on items, such as jewelry, silverware, and other objects, to show that they had submitted an application for a patent but the patent had not yet been officially granted.
