I’m selling a large handpainted 42" tall pub sign called “The Admiral”. I was told that the previous owners brought the sign with them from a pub in the UK when they moved to Canada. The painting is on two-centimeter-thick planks, as shown in the second photo of its reverse side. The frame has separated slightly on the bottom of the painting, as shown in the fourth image. I’ve also posted higher-resolution photos in an Imgur album for viewing: https://imgur.com/a/OBbfYOR Dimensions: 107 cm (height) × 80 cm (width) × 6 cm (depth) Weight: 9.3 kg (20.5 lbs) I found another similar sign, though not identical, created by the same artist for the same pub. For reference, I’ve included a screenshot from Invaluable.com (one of the internet's largest art sites) that records this other painting’s provenance, indicating its origin in a pub in England. https://www.invaluable.com/auction-lot/english-painted-wood-pub-sign-the-admiral-1030-c-5f0485eb4f If you’d like to view "The Admiral" in person without any obligation, I’d be happy to arrange a time to show it to you. Please note that I’ll only accept payment in person at the time of purchase, and I'm located in Bridgeland, near downtown. Feel free to send me any reasonable offer for the item.
