Sorry but I was dealing with two fairly serious medical issues - one where surgery was a choice but with no partner (husband of 33 years passed away May 2020 (no, not Covid) & no support ppl; friends live too far or have their own concerns) or family being off my feet for 6 - 8 weeks - then rehab seemed an unrealistic solution....
Yes, some of us don't have 'family' to step up & hiring home nursing was going to be a burden I could not financially undertake.
