Shipped from Montreal to Toronto. These unique chairs were $700 each but I’m selling 2 for $525 I’m moving and really need the money, must be able to pick them up as I do not have a car. Hewn from a single block of sustainably harvested rain tree, or Chamcha wood, the fallen timbers are air dried for months, then kiln dried and hand curved to reveal a consistent finish. Each piece celebrates the natural grain patterns and striations inherent in the wood. -Carved from solid rain tree, a type of acacia Kiln dried at low heat -Sanded, hand-stained and sealed in an exacting, multistep process -This item is artisan crafted with meticulous care. Given its handmade and hand-finished nature, variations in the wood are to be expected and celebrated.
