Chickens - Laying Hens

Red Sex Link laying hens. Just under 2 years old, purchased from Frey’s hatchery. Always fed minor brothers ‘mega lay’ pellets, and appropriate garden and kitchen scraps. Still laying well, but obviously they are getting older and are slowing down slightly. Reason for selling is that we’d like to take a break from farming for the winter, and will be purchasing a new flock in the spring. They have been our most productive and healthiest flock thus far. Asking $5/bird, and we have 28. Open to offers if you’d like all of them. Although they are an egg laying variety and still have a number of years of productive laying left, they could also be used for meat, but it will be tougher due to their age. Can delivery within Niagara (will depend on distance though as to what the delivery fee will be). Pick up in Ridgeway.
