These darling toy Howler & Wolly monkeys are hand stitched in Columbia, in support of the monkeys being saved from eradication by deforestation, the illegal capture and trade industry and pesticide usage. The monkeys are rescued and taken to The Eco SantaFe Rehabilitation Centre in Columbia, where they live out their lives in safety and with love. Columbian women in the impoverished country work for fair wages, and create these adorable toy replicas, in order to raise monies to support their families and to help keep the rehab centre operational.
