Drum Teacher

Hi, My name is Mark Tolga Calis and have been a drummer for over 40 years and drum teacher for over 12 years. I teach children, teenagers and adults the art of drums and percussion :) My passion for drumming has brought me to a high level of expertise on timing, stamina, dynamics and technique that I pass along to my students learning with music, songs, theory, rudiments and site reading. I started my teaching career in private home lessons and then now have been teaching drums at a studio in the NE for over twelve years. I love my work and love playing drums to music. I find the right song for that particular category of drums we are on as teacher and student. I teach one on one lessons but have also taught a classroom of children the bongos and djembe drum. So book a trial lesson with me for one hour and you will be amazed! I travel with a table top electronic drum kit and set up in 5 minutes, for an accelerated learning experience :) Rate: $50 for one hour and $40 for the trial(first lesson) within Calgary AB city limits.
