This is a 14 inch tall, 10 pound gemstone globe. It is made from hand-cut segments of semi-precious gemstones, polished and finished to a bright glossy shine. The names of countries are in English and Chinese, and the lines of latitude/longitude are in gold. The globe itself is set in a rust-proof metal stand featuring a jaguar motif and a compass in the base. The globe can rotate fully on a two-axis gimbal.
