This majestic and beautiful grandmother aloe plant has been in our family for more than 50 years. It has been so happy that it’s been joyfully blossoming for us since the early 2000’s (see the photos for the last blossom stalk). It is healthy and strong, with no bugs, nor other problems. It is planted in a very large brass pot (the pot is about 10” tall and 14” in diametre). Width at the widest point: approximately 36” Height from the bottom of the pot to the top spike: approximately 30” (and about 48” when the flower spikes blossom). We moved almost two years ago to a narrow Victorian row house in Kensington Market, and this lovely plant just isn’t getting enough natural light to bloom anymore. (In our old home, she stood on the floor of our dining room, about 4 feet away from floor-to-ceiling north-facing windows.) It is time to let her go to a good home where she will be loved and given lots of light and will continue to flourish. Pick-up near Kensington Market, by the Spadina-Dundas Chinatown. Delivery is possible, for a modest fee - depending upon the driving time and distance.
