Set includes 6 steak knives plus a 3-piece carving set, with distinctive brown and yellow Bakelite handles in a faux-antler/horn style and stainless steel blades. The blades are stamped “Warranted G.H. Cutlery — Stainless Steel — Made in Canada.” The original case features a silky/satin-lined upper compartment and a convenient pull-out lower drawer for the six steak knives. Inside is the Glo-Hill mark “Warranted Cutlery — Glo-Hill Cutlery Co. Ltd. — The Connoisseur’s Choice.” Glo-Hill was a Canadian cutlery manufacturer known for its mid-century tableware and distinctive Bakelite-handled knives.
