Vintage early 1960s Jell-O / Hostess promotional “Famous Cars” collector set. Includes the original blue plastic carrying case with assorted car coins/tokens still loaded inside, plus the original “Jell-O Desserts Famous Cars Fact Book.” Also includes 9 bonus “Famous Aircraft of the World” airplane coins from the 1962 series. The car coins feature illustrated classic automobiles from the late 1800s through the 1960s, with different colored chips for each era. The carrying case and booklet were mail-away premiums offered by Jell-O in Canada in 1961.
