Signed and numbered lithograph by Canadian artist 20” x 24” Back is glued to frame and needs re-gluing but otherwise in great condition Kai-Liis is an elected member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour, the Society of Canadian Artists, the Colour and Form Society. She is also a signature member of the Toronto Watercolour Society. Born in Estonia and brought up in Scotland, Kai-Liis came to Canada at the age of 12. Much of her inspiration for her work comes from the expansive hill countryside around her, from her childhood in Scotland, and her love of children, flowers, and old buildings. Subject matter ranges from the realistic to the frankly whimsical, according to her mood. She is now living in Mulmur Hills, north of Toronto, Ontario and travels extensively throughout the world. During the 1990's her signature series of "Cascades of Colors" was introduced and has been the driving force that's given her an international reputation as an innovator.
