Meet Cindy! ❤️ 🏡 Neighbourhood: Chaparral, Calgary 🚀 Karrot Status: Expert Karroter 💗 Describe Karrot in 1 word: “Special 🥕” 🥕 Cindy's profile: karrot://hash_users/JMVlQZGvnpzoxdLj Q: First impression of Karrot? When I first began using Karrot I listed a few items to just try out the app, and it all ended up selling super quickly! This made me get addicted to the app, especially since I am a people person, the interactions with my community made it feel fresh and new compared to other app experiences. I was also super intrigued by the all the giveaways that were offered on the app, this is also something that other buy and sell apps didn’t offer. Q: Why choose secondhand? There are so many high quality items that people sell that are barely used, so I figured why not take advantage of it. I get great condition for a significantly cheaper price. And, I have so many things just laying around at home, when I sell it I know other people benefit from the item way more than I do. Plus, who doesn’t love making a little extra money! Q: Tips for selling? • Patience is a virtue - When you post an item, it likely isn’t going to sell in one day. You need to make sure you give it some time before people start reaching out to you. • Quality pictures - Getting multiple angles of an item is so important, this way you can add more pictures which always helps buyers get a better look at what their buying! • Communicate well - Don’t ghost people who reach out to you even if you sold the item. You can kindly relay the message that this item is not available anymore. Communicating properly is so important. Q: What makes the Karrot app special? I am OBSESSED with the Ai posting feature that automatically populates the title and description for me after adding the photos. It has made my life so much easier when I list items, as that does all the work for me. Usually I sit around thinking of elaborate descriptions but this helped me save SO much of my time, I love it 🥰 Q: What is your favourite contest on Karrot? I love all the events and even participate in the majority of them. I actually cannot pick one to be my favourite. I even like to leave reassuring comments to the people who didn’t get a chance to win that event. I feel like by uplifting people, it truly builds a sense of community. I feel so grateful to receive the awards for these giveaways as well. Thanks for reading everyone!
