Charming vintage sporting scene showing an elderly duck hunter smoking his pipe, holding a mallard duck, with his faithful hunting dog beside him and several duck decoys at his feet. Beautifully detailed 1920s American sporting illustration, with classic hunting clothing, equipment, waterfowl and an atmospheric marshland background. Original magazine cover from 1929 - nearly 100 years old. Not a modern reproduction. Approximately 10 x 12 inches.
