Leo Ritter Floral Oil Painting

Leo Ritter (Austrian, 1915- ) was primarily known for his floral still lifes in oil in an Impressionistic style. Leo Ritter was born in Linz, Austria in 1915 and he initially studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule (School of Arts and Crafts) in Linz and then at the Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien (Academy of Fine Arts) in Vienna. His artwork was represented in many galleries and exhibitions throughout Austria, Europe and abroad to include the well-known Galerie Otto in Vienna, Austria.
