I’m selling an Olympia SG1 Typewriter (1959). This classic German “desktop” machine is fully functional and in good overall shape. • All keys, carriage-return and margin releases operate smoothly. • Current ribbon still types, but print is light—an inexpensive universal ribbon will bring it back to full strength. • Cosmetically good: paint and exterior are in good condition. • Faint cigarette-smoke odour (noticeable only on close inspection). • Missing the paper-support / last-line indicator (part #12 in the service diagram—see photo). • Includes original dust-cover; fabric is patchy with a few small holes but still protects the machine. • Footprint: 24 in (61 cm) W × 16 in (41 cm) D × 8.5 in (21 cm) H. • Weighs roughly 18 kg (40 lb) If you’d like to view the Olympia SG1 in person without any obligation, I’d be happy to arrange a time to show it to you. Please note that I’ll only accept payment in person at the time of purchase, and I’m located in Bridgeland, near downtown. Feel free to send me any reasonable offer for the item.
