Circulated banknotes from Lebanon (Banque du Liban). These are the classic 1,000 and 5,000 Livres paper notes. Because of massive inflation and a shift toward giant new denominations and plastic polymer money, the central bank is replacing these small-value paper bills. They are quickly disappearing from daily use, making them a great piece of modern financial history or a unique novelty item!
