Medicine Cards

Selling my mom’s oracle decks & other cards. Medicine cards are based around animals and Indigenous teachings on those animals. The big book is the guide book and each card has at least two pages. Please note that this deck was not made by Indigenous people, but by white people who lumped together various Indigenous teachings into one monolith. Each nations own beliefs and traditional practices in regard to the animals will differ from the summary written. If you’re interested in Indigenous teachings, this could be a starting off point to inspire you to look up the animals you connect to through the cards and how the nations whose territories you reside on hold significance to that animal. Can send more pictures of the cards / book if desired. The edges of the book and the deck holder are dinted but the cards themselves and inner pages are in good, like-new condition. The money from the purchase of this deck will be donated to the Indian Residential School Survivors Society. I am selling 10 oracle decks. Check my page for other listings! Pick up in Gastown.
