In 1910, my grandmother had her 16th birthday. For her "coming out" party (not what it means today) her father had this pendant custom made for her. When my mother turned 16, my grandmother passed the necklace to her. When I turned 16, my adopted mother gave it to me. My daughter did not live. It is worth substantially more than what I am asking so DO NOT BARTER with me on this. I don't want to let it go but it is too lovely to just have in a box. While the photo doesn't show it well (stamp is too small. camera won't focus) it does have the Sterling Silver stamp. Is your daughter turning 16? A piece of history associated with that age is a wonderful gift and can, hopefully, become an heirloom in someone else's family. Help me give it a good home.
