Very rare promo item from the Beatles company Apple Records. In 1968 a small quantity of these Woden crates were made and sent to record stores to hold records from the artists recently signed to the Apple Records label. Apple Records labels on either end and Apple Records London stencilled (burned) on the sides. This wooden crate would have come with 8 cedar plank dividers with the artists name stencilled on the top with green paint. The dividers that come with this original crate are replicas on similar sized planks with a plastic sticker stuck on the top end of the plank. It’s nearly impossible to find the original dividers. Overall condition of the crate is about the best I’ve seen with no major issues. A truly great item and very rare. I’m happy to answer any questions about this promotional item from the start of Apple Records. Asking $700 obo
