Although a run club with no running doesn’t sound to us like fun, Tim Hortons seemingly created the run club in honor of the millions of Canadians who make a daily visit to the restaurant (i.e., a “Tim’s Run”). “A run is something you can do from the comfortable seat of your car—that you can do in slides and socks,” claims the press release. “The best kind of run is one that doesn’t require a km/h tracking watch.” We aren’t sure what a “km/h watch” is, but the fast food chain will also release an exclusive, limited-edition Tims Run Club apparel line, featuring popular running gear like the premium and classic Tims Run Windbreaker, high socks and a sweat-wicking five-panel red hat.
