Antique 1800's whale oil lamp

This is an antique brass Italian "Lucerna" oil lamp, likely dating from the 18th or early 19th century. It features a central adjustable standard with a loop handle at the top for carrying or hanging. The lamp typically possesses two to four spouts for wicks, often burning whale oil. Included tools like wick trimmers, snuffers, and extinguishers are attached to the lamp via chains. Often referred to as "Florentine" style, these lamps were commonly used for lighting in Italian households. This is the same type of lamp seen in the movie The Mummy where the old man burns the map to the city of the dead.
