1973 Yamaki AY 335 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar. Made in Japan. This guitar sounds fantastic, however it is priced low due to needing some work. While it plays nicely in the cowboy chord zone of the first bunch of frets the action gets high as you go up the neck. This guitar has a "belly bulge", the area behind the bridge is raised, I believe this is what is causing the high action, in most cases this can be fixed easily at home by humidifying the inside of the guitar. From research this guitar likely has rosewood back and sides and either a cedar or spruce top. Rosewood fingerboard and very smooth original Yamaki branded tuners. After hearing this guitar you will understand that it is worth putting some time into getting it setup and playing nicely. Comes with a hardshell case that has seen better days but works just fine.
