Vintage 1977 Seiko 5 day-date men's watch automatic mechanical

RARE MINT Vintage 1977 Seiko 7019-5080 Automatic Day-Date Men's Watch in silver bezel and stainless steel band. This mechanical (automatic) wristwatch features a blue dial with day/date display. It is pristine both aesthetically and keeping good time. The two halves of the dial swap colours depending on the light and viewing angle.  This is a very beautiful and interesting piece. The first three shots were shot in controlled lighting.  The rest of the photos were made under natural lighting. This Seiko "5" maintains the original 5 principles which have since been lost in the modern models: - automatic movement - a day-date complication at the 3 o'clock position - water resistance - a recessed crown at the 4 o'clock position - durable case and bracelet. The Seiko 7019 watch movement, features a sophisticated excenter self-winding mechanism with just one gear stage. It is an automatic movement with no manual wind capability. The movement includes a sweep second hand, as well as a day and date display. The day function can be quickset by repeated pushing of the crown, and is available in two languages (English and French). The date function can also be quickset.
