Authentic vintage Renwick leather briefcase, made in Canada from genuine glazed caribou hide. This hard-sided case features durable construction, reinforced corners, sturdy metal latches, and a classic top handle. The leather shows scuffs, scratches, and edge wear consistent with age and use. Handle has visible wear but remains functional. Interior is clean for its age. A rare Canadian-made collectible that’s both stylish and functional — perfect for vintage fashion, film/prop use, or everyday carry with character. Combination lock three digit 747 is the code that leads me to believe it may have been owned by a pilot or an aeronautical individual. Handle has some damage inner leather reinforcement is torn through only outer leather remaining on right side of handle, there are scratches and scuffs in the leather as it is very old but for the right setting would make a fantastic prop or vintage decor. The inside is very good all the sleeves are good shape and working, snaps and leavers working good. I don’t think this is something you would actually want to use on a regular bases mind you reinforcement on the handle and it could be done everything still works but I see this more as a very good prop or museum piece or something for a movie set. The patina and ware gives it a good look as an item in use for a vintage seen, with the leather quality and brand for a good well to do on the move setting.
