It includes the key , which turns but I cannot start . It did for many years but has been in storage not used . It needs a cleaning in the interior mechanism to work . It is not broken just needs a tune up . I do not want to open it up . Not knowledgeable enough. But someone familiar with windup toys would not have a problem.
