On Amazon, the same certified reconditioned (Renewed) A2500 sells for $550 + tax (about $622 total). By purchasing this one, you save around $270, while still getting a long warranty (4 years, 7 months remaining - ending April 25th, 2030) and all included accessories. Imperfections to note: 1. Container Imperfections – There are visible imperfections ‘embedded’ within the container walls, ✨so food would not come into contact with them✨. Vitamix has confirmed this is acceptable per their quality control standards. 2. Bouncy/Unstable Centring Pad – Around the metal socket in the middle, the pad feels soft and bouncy. When blending at the highest speed, the container shakes noticeably, but it still blends powerfully. Centring Pad Lifting – The black rubber pad on top of the base came lifted on both sides. This is considered normal, has passed their quality inspection, and does not affect performance. 4. Scratched Drive Socket Rubber – The rubber around the drive socket (the metal piece in the middle that the container clicks into) shows scratches. ✨Aside from running a quick water blending test to make sure everything was working, the container has never been used for anything else.
