Unique Australian Signed Dot Painting

Australian Aboriginal-style dot painting, featuring traditional motifs like snakes, emus, goannas/lizards, and handprints against a reddish-brown earth background. Signed and dated Jan '05 in the bottom right corner (please see pics). I believe this is an exceptional study painting, done after a similar one that resides in the Australian Museum of Art, in Sydney. The painting is currently housed in a solid wood frame, and is protected under glass. Painting and frame are both in excellent condition. Measures 19 1/4 x 23 1/8 inches (including frame). Inside of frame measures 16 x 20. Visible image measures 10 1/2 x 16 1/2. *Sorry for the reflections on the glass.
