Empty inside, clean pine - great for display, books, blankets, firewood, or a Remembrance Day vignette. Vintage as-found. Solid, lid works. Wear = character. See all photos. A Note on its History - The Reused Box: Military crates like this lived many lives. You can see in the photos layers of original black and army green paint, with the later yellow CFB stencil on top. The CFB (Canadian Forces Base) name dates the last service to 1968 or newer, after unification, but the heavy pine, dovetailed construction and worn paint underneath suggest the box itself is older and was repainted and re-issued - a common practice where a WWII / 1950s-era box would be reused for decades on Canadian bases. So this may be a box from the 1940s-50s and was still working in the 70s/80s. That's the character. No ammo, no weapons - empty historic box only. Cambridge pickup at BishopandConcession. Priced at $125 firm for quick sale before Remembrance Day.
