Vintage Canadian 5 cents coin from 1927. Features George V on the obverse and maple leaves on the reverse. A classic addition for any coin collector! These picture show the reverse side of a 1927 Canadian five-cent coin featuring a large '5', crossed maple leaves, and the year 1927 issued during the reign of King George V. It also shows the inverse side with Kings picture. Composition: 100% pure nickel. The letters in "GEORGIVS V DEI GRA..." are crisp and raised from the background field.The individual vertical bands and jewels on the crown are still clearly distinct rather than completely worn smooth.There is some minor surface tarnish/toning around the edges, which is normal for long-term storage in early cardboard holders. I've had it 50 years and it's always been in a holder.
