Very happy little guy!

I was so pleased to meet Debbie. She was personable & I was happy with the purchase. I have used Facebook Marketplace in the past, but I had a bad experience with a scammer who paid me with a bogus cheque. It was an unpleasant experience & I called the bank to ask why the certified cheque wasn't deposited immediately because hercmoversxwerevshowing up atv9 the nextcmorningMy gut instinct told me something was wrong but this woman assured me that she did these transactions all the time. My second red flag was that the cheque was drawn on a bank in Saskatchewan & I live in Nova Scotia. The bank manager told me her cheque would bounce & it did. I immediately messaged the buyer & said the bank would not remove the 5 day hold & I told her I would not allow her movers to take my furniture so don't send them. Then I blocked her. Essentially, she sent my asking price of $200 + $100 (for my inconvenience going to my bank & getting $1,000 cash to pay her movers for a restored antique mahoghany office desk that cost $2,000 for restoration. It cost a lot so we didn't want to let it go for nothing. My husband said he would be satisfied to get $200
