Rickenbacker 4001 Electric Bass Guitar - Natural
$3,500
This Rickenbacker bass was made in the year 1980 according to the serial number. The neck is a 3-piece through-body construction with maple and a middle walnut strip. The rest of the body is made of maple. It has lacquered rosewood fretboard with shark fin inlays and binding, dual single-coil toaster and horseshoe pickups, pickup selector switch, dual volume and tone knobs, and regular and Rick-O-Sound stereo output, and adjustable bridge with built-in foam mute. This bass was originally blue and the previous owner removed the finish, which looks very nice. It comes with the original hardshell case that is now full of stickers, and the original closed-back Grover tuners. The bridge cover is missing, though many players leave it off anyway. I will adjust the relief of the neck and the string heights to maximize its playability.
