Large Chinese display charger featuring children, often known as "Boys at Play" or Karako scenes, typically symbolize fertility, prosperity, and joy, featuring children in traditional garden settings.
The four characters 雍正年製 (Yongzheng Nian Zhi) on the back translate to "Made during the reign of the Yongzheng Emperor" (1723–1735).
On the base of the plate are dragons; the dragon is a benevolent symbol representing power and good fortune.
It’s 15” diameter and comes with a wooden plate stand.
